I use it on the 15 and it's a game changer. Set your R:R to 1:1.5. It's life changing. Seriously.

I have finally completed the first leap in my live account!!! The first time I went live and tried compounding I didn't have my mindset right and couldn't even get to the first leap. I just kept draining my account. I wanted trading to work RIGHT NOW instead of looking at it as a long term 40-year career. Slow is actually faster. The faster you go the slower you compound.

I passed one 50K Topstep Challenge and one 150k Topstep challenge. Another is close. I want to thank all of the Forex women. Thank you!!!! Mel was such a big reason for this. Thank you Mel!!

Okay, I did it, I backtested gold for 3 months on the 3min and 15min timeframe. My rules were this: take the first A+ indicator after 8am, 1:1.5 R:R, trail stop loss, 1 trade per day (allow for 2 if the first trade is a loss). Both the 3 minute and the 15 minute allowed for an average of 22 - 25 trades per month, and both timeframes averaged a 75% win rate.

The vibe is great virtual this morning! I also just passed two more combines in 2 days and I met my daily goal for my 1st funded this morning! Let’s Go!!!

My son took a 1:1 during double biology! I'm cross, horrified, disciplining and proud all in 5 seconds.

Back tested EURUSD the past ~20days on the 1hr time frame using the Supply/Demand zones and strict A+ entries, set TP at zones and didn't trail SL... total would have been 22.68% gain!! If that wasn't a confidence boost and also a kick in the rear end about not following my plan like I should be, I don't know what is! woo hoo! Trust the process!!!!!

Ok! This is insane! My backtesting for March 2026 for 7 selected Forex pairs, on hourly, grows my money for 20.8% (not even compounded) if I risk 1%! I will of course risk at least 2%! => 41% 🤯 And for April so far... 20.5% (1% risk). INSANE! All I need to do is set an alarm on my phone every hour (3 minutes to the top of the hour) from 9 am to 10 pm... and trade on my phone. Ready... Set... Go! 🤩🤩🤩

I started with a $100,000 demo account and took it down to $77,007.19 and ended with $215,000 things were just flowing.

When I get a few minutes my go-to dopamine hit is to open a chart and see what’s happening. Way healthier than scrolling social media. I’m out shopping with my daughter today. Opened my chart while waiting for her. Set a 15m tag that appeared. Checked my chart a little later. TP’d at $54. Seriously.

<12 Red Folders USD due at 830 EST> 3 minute time frame 6 trades 3 NT 3 Profits 1 hour and 20 minutes of watching $243 I do have a 15 minute supply marked and on the right you can see where I put the Intraday Targets. Easy. Simple. Calm. The kind of trading I can teach my grandkids to do.

I mark my chart with a wide red vertical line at the time the news is due. This way it's a very visual reminder to wait. Myfxbook has 27 red folders at 8:29 AM, EST.

Without stacking you could have grabbed two of these this morning. Yes it was consolidation but with small pins there is room for 1:2s even in consolidation.

I started trading my live account today for the first time!! I took a loss this morning but came back and got a 1:2!! celebrations!

I went back to re watch some of Mel’s videos, placed my phone in pocket and just listened. I was listening to the prop firm video and I heard “order filled”. 😳 I then yanked my phone out bc I thought I had placed an order I didn’t remember placing. I then realized it was Mel’s video.🤦‍♀️. I just had a mini heart attack!

Fat fingers couldn't get the SL exactly right, I figured it was sooo close it wouldn't make a difference, would it? Yes. Yes it would! Got stopped out when I would've just stayed in if I hadve gotten off my bum and charged my laptop! Had a confluence of a 350 entry before the ORB trade and lost out because of an incorrect SL 😫 New rule added to my challenge - no placing trades on the phone!

I did my analysis in the morning and marked three key points where I thought gold could potentially go (red lines). And of course, it did — but I took a 1:2 TP. I’m very happy with the 1:2 TP, and I’m also really glad that the charts are finally starting to make sense to me. 😉

When the trade is just.... Beautiful! A 350 followed by an ORB and up up up. Would have been a 1:6.7 although climbing again after a beauty of a retest of the EMA! These are the kinds of trades I'm going to wait for. Confluences 👌 P.S. Are we all crazy that we think charts are pretty? 😍🤣 (I wasn't trading Miss Mel, just went back in to check what happened at London open 😊)

A win on MGC1! this morning. Entered off of the 9:30 ORB. Didn't let my winning trade turn into a loosing trade. I managed my trade by moving out my SL and stopped out at a 1:2.5. It was a really big R:R and I was in it for a while but it paid off! My emotions were in check. So happy with my progress.

I hit a TP of $610. this morning on the GBPUSD, and could've on the AUDJPY as well but I only have one screen to use for now. Well im out and now going to go and check on my MGC1!

Out of the gates over $500 profit again on demo!

I am finally going to have a dedicated work station and can have my set up continually without having to move everything off of the kitchen table for dinner! So excited! The London session was going while I was building so I paused to set up my ORB and within 20 minutes had taken my 1:2 on both Gold and NAS! Enough to pay for the new desk! (If I wasn't in Demo still 🤣)

Yesterday I woke up to a 1:1 TP! It was $10! Not as big as most that are posted here but a TP is a TP. It is progress. It is understanding the system. Yay me!!

Clearly mark up your example and drop them in the comments! It is so easy to spot the more you practice. Marking them up is my new favorite hobby once I met my Daily goal. If you trade the Crude Oil Asset you went 1:10 today with no sweat at all.

I saw two questions today on this topic so I'll address it in this post. We use USD Risk (or CAD Risk or GBP Risk or whatever your currency is) If you have a $300 account and risk 1%. Trade One = $3 Trade Two = $2.97 Trade Three = $2.94 and on and on If you have a $300 account and risk $3, each trade is risking $3. This matters on the Take Profit end because TP is a factor of your risk. Hope this helps to clarify!

Just scalped for the past three hours and made $1,200! WHOHOOO!!!

In the USA, check your state’s website for unclaimed property. These are usually monies due back to you because of medical overpayments, escrow, closed bank accounts, switched car insurances, etc. Add that money to your broker account. The last time I did it we had $121 due back to us. It is one of those attraction things…it comes when it will do the most good for you. Let me know if you find any money in your name!

I started in October with zero prior experience. I grew my swing account (paper trading) by 47% in January, risking 3%. I also passed my first prop firm combine! It took me 4 days to make the $3k to pass. I had blown six accounts before that 😬 (4 in 1 day 🤦🏼‍♀️ don't trade silver😅). Thank you God for allowing me to learn this skill.

Last week I had a similar problem. I lost my funded accounts on a day that I could have TAKEN MY FIRST PAYOUT but I thought oh let’s see what today gives me then I’ll request a larger amount. Chasing that one more or that last few dollars is my downfall. Mel’s call really helped me put in perspective and I’m going into next week without any big goals other than the daily $150 required and discipline

I am using FunderPro and purchased the swing trading upgrade I like it, but they have strict margin requirements. I have a funded account but haven’t taken my first payout yet.

When I switched to futures I started with $350. I traded Crude Oil, Ether, and something else. But I could only trade the NY market. I built my account up enough to get to trade gold. Still today I trade Gold and Live Cattle. 🧡

I got in on Gold, and took profit at a 1:6.97! Made my profit goal for the day and am done by 7am. 👍🏻 Thank you Jesus!

This is a clean example of how patience pays: waiting for the retest gave high‑probability alignment with the broader bearish move. Consistency turns setups into confidence.

This trade played out so beautifully! I originally set a 1:1.5 RR, but since it was trending so nicely, I moved my SL behind every bullish FVG that was being created and moved my TP up to 4 hour FVG that had previously been left. This was my first time trading silver 😍 and ended up with a 1:7.5 RR

I really prefer the East Coast USA pre-market hours. Candles move slower with low volume but the entries and flow are really clear. This morning. 3m candles. $109. Done 🌟

I’ve passed the first phase of my prop firm challenge! I’m now moving on to phase two. This is the first time I’ve made it this far, and by the grace of God, who has guided me and never left me alone on this journey, I’m truly grateful. It’s been a long road, but I’m staying focused. I am cheating but I’m sharing because it’s a game changer! I was massively struggling on my phone at work. I bought a used iPad for $120. I am hiding it in a notebook and using my phone’s hotspot at work! It is sooo much better!

Just closed a very rewarding 1:6 RR on MGC 🙌🏼 Sometimes the hardest part is simply waiting. I had a bad red day last week and I took a couple days off trading and went to watch more education videos and reset my mindset. I’ve been more focused on taking A+ entry’s instead of chasing money. I took a beautiful trade on gold and I had two confirmations on the 15 & 30 min time frame. I trailed my stop loss into profit 🥰

I have had 9 winning swing trades this week! Some in crypto and some in futures and some in forex! wahoo! Loving this hugging of the EMA this week! Still had two small losses yes, but major fun week! And I don't trade on Sundays or else I would have had 10 wins! But I'll take the 9! Paaaasive income!

3 weeks in and with lots of studying and tweaking, I woke up to my first winner on the 4hr timeframe! I am only paper trading, but I am so grateful my strategy worked! I set 3 pending orders; 2 of them didn't enter me in on the second candle so I deleted them but the third was a charm! What a great way to wake up after losses the last 2 weeks 🙂

I see we broke out of consolidation and made a new supply zone and a lovely W Orb and 350 might be lovely to us today ✨ Pre market notes -; No buys from Orb - too close to supply; Sells from Orb target 1:2 then manage to resistance or demand; 350 Sells same as orb; Buys if they brake the supply zones and ATH

I hit TP (over $700) on MGC1! I clicked too fast and accidentally closes out and quickly went back in and hit TP in literally 3 minutes! Ok..... im going to go play in DEMO now to keep practicing!!!!!

Just set the trade and walk away. Trust your plan and let price hit your SL or TP. Price above all my emas, expansion, and a tiny rejection candle (my fave). In 3hrs you could walk away with a 1:50 and you're done for the week...heck maybe even the month!

I’ve been consistent using the TFW daily strategy and set up my alarm so I can jump into the market as soon as my candle for the day closes. I listen to the audiobooks to motivate me and work on my mindset. The biggest difference for me has been PATIENCE! I really enjoy watching the videos posted by the lovely ladies who really empower us to become successful 🥰.

3minute retests are not as strong. The candles before the entry kept pushing down, then pulling back, wicky. Giving me a clue that there might still be some buyers in there. And the fractals were still HH, HL. A real easy 1:2, $84. Now, Yellow EMA is starting to flatten out with no volume. I’ll set an alert for price at the 5m EMA (purple), looking for a Sell as it comes back down.

My prayer request is for my son and I to finally have peace in our lives after the last several years of challenges and uncertainty. I pray that I can heal and become a better mom and provider to my child through trading. Can confirm! This is actually my system that I’ve been using the past 6 months and continue to use, with gold. 3 and 15 min TF 1:1.5 ratio. Buuuut…if you backtest it for the NY session, you’ll actually see more like an 80% win rate. It’s THAT good. 1:1.5 is where it’s at!

I have found setting my ORB lines on the 30 min and then moving to the 15min works well for a few forex pairs. Took home a little profit this morning. Love the green

No issues here. I copy trade 5 funded accounts. There is a delay in my copy trader that causes a slight difference in my P&L but that is about it.

Trying to scalp while at work and still learning a big no no. Last night I was up $300 on my challenge acct today down $700. Definitely my fault trying to place a trade fast while answering call. I think for now I'm going to stick to Tokyo session, sense i won't be distracted.

Do we have backtest data on 350? Cause I just spent some time marking out entries for the past week on NQ, and no joke! It was like a 30:2 win rate! That’s just a 1:2RR, with most trades being way more than 2! 🔥

It happened again. Trying to wrap my head around this, but I really struggle to pass the last leg on my prop firm challenges. The end is in sight, last 100$ (even 10$ can you believe) to make 3000$ profit, and then I have the setback. Need to work on my mindset here, I know …follow my trading plan…Just venting here, wondering if anyone has same and changes made to pass through it. 🙏

I have been playing around with back testing this strategy today and was just curious if those who have been testing it, what instruments you’ve been using. I know they can all work for sure, was just curious if people are having more success with something specific. I typically only trade gold and MES but it seems to have a better win rate with gold so far in my testing but just curious other people’s experiences ☺️

I struggled for months with this same decision. The up front costs of live-data etc is what kept me from trying futures. However, I am finding much more sucess with scalping futures than I did with forex. I'm still paper trading on tradingview but using a prop firm to try and get funded (I lost my funded account but I'm trying again).

Dude. I've blown or had to reset over a dozen challenge accounts. I've blown multiple funded accounts. The first one always cuts the deepest. Dust yourself off and go again.

I currently trade one at a time. I blew a top one sim account t and I am too scared to loose all three funded accounts at one time so I am focusing on one account for the NY open and the other two either during Asia session or when the lunch hour is done.

I have an instant funded account through Clarity Traders that I’ve had success with for forex and it uses TradeLocker as their platform. I use IBK for futures trading.

Q1- when you pass your evaluation and are funded, when you make 53k and get a payout do you go back to 50k and earn 3k again or do you have to restart another account and do the evaluation again? Not sure if annyone else is with Top Tier as a prop firm but wow did they just announce amazing news!!!

I only had $3k to start. I feel like I’ve been diligent with A+ entries with my top performing 6 pairs and I’ve been getting stopped out all the time. I go back and look at the charts and there is great price action but the entries aren’t A+ so I wouldn’t have taken the big moving trades. Feeling frustrated.

What I know… in 2 years I will have a 7 figure self- funded compounding account. FACT!

My approach wouldn’t change much. I need to continue strengthening my mindset, staying disciplined, and trusting my plan without letting self-doubt creep in. I have already noticed small shifts over the last month in my trading, so I know my confidence is slowly building!

I was afraid of losing this one and closed the trade before it hit my TP. There goes my fear again taking over me. I came out with $450, but could have been $1450.00. That is my current challenge right now not trusting the process. Still happy I didn’t lose 🤣🎉

2021: COVID crash, $1.2B liquidated 2022: FTX collapse, $1.6B wiped out 2025: Yesterday, $19.6B gone in a day. The crashes keep getting bigger, but so do the comebacks

Moved my stop loss up to break-even, then got wicked out before it shot up to what would have been a 1:3😑 no more trading for me today... start again next week. I didn't loose any money but it's almost more frustrating.

I think something might be a bit off? I just output my trading history from my paper trading TV account and uploaded into Tradezella. If only this account balance were true and in my live account instead of demo! haha

That sounds AMAZING!! That's a 20% increase!! What savings account or investment has this type of %. Incredible. If you are able to monthly add a little bit each month it will compound even faster. Make sure you go through your compounding plan and see how over the year it will compound and what could happen in year 2. I started with a small amount too... and keep telling myself to trust the process. Slow and sure.

Morning! traded pre - market and NY open and forgot to check in. BUT knowing that I was going to check in later helped me make 2 good trades. 1 on gold and 1 on YM. Both 1:3 and I actually HELD and didn't get fomo when YM broke out of consolidation again and went further. Good moves last night ✨ I see a supply zone, 4HR FVG and some movement Not off to a great start as I broke one of my rules - I saw a buy in 350 and out of the 6am orb and took the orb which immediately turned round on me at resistance I had marked up - should have had my coffee first - General rule, for me, unless I"m 100% don't take a buy in a down trend

I just wanted to share that drawing “safety”trendlines has been helping me stay in my trades during pullbacks or retests. If price were to close on the other side, I would consider taking profit. I hope this makes sense!

This is why I trail my stop loss especially if I’m in a trade and am going to bed! Was hoping that we would ride all the way down to the demand zone. But USDJPY had other ideas in mind! We may be forming a head and shoulders pattern and I can ride back down again. I still managed a nice little 1:2.3RR out of a potential 1:4.8RR. I have some alerts set on POI. Let’s see what happens today!

I have passed a few but today was the first day i was able to take a $1500 payout. So with that said i doo have a daily loss limit of $250 and I enable the lockout feature and I "try " to have a profit target and to not overtrade so no more than 3 trades a day. But i try to just do one trade. if that makes sense. I am still figuring out my plan

You’re reading it correctly—long lower wicks on a potential sell candle usually invalidate the entry. That’s why it wouldn’t qualify as an A+ setup. The fact you spotted that detail means your chart eye is sharpening. Better to wait for clean confirmations than force a trade. Patience = consistency.

Have a plan, and stick to it. Don’t risk what you aren’t willing to lose. My personal advice: start with a prop firm and use their money to learn. Use your payouts for starting capital for a brokerage account.

I do! I leave my tags and then every month or so I go back and check my win rate and executions based on my rules.

I have been at this about a year and a half and every time I make a leap compounding, it gets taken away. I have not been able to consistently grow my account. I am still showing up to the trainings and trying to perfect my skill, but I am getting discouraged.

If you go to the account summary section it will show all of your closed trades. I feel your pain in this. I opened a live account on 2/1, and have only won 1 trade… I’ve been very consistent in going into trades, I’m going to take a step back and work on my mindset before I blow through my $.

I am a newbie... but I find swing trading an amazingly easy concept and grasp. It takes such little time to set trades on the daily candles and about 10-15min of your day. The results are so good 54-64% WIN rate. Scalping is a little more complex, more time invested, and the need to understand the market more. Again, I'm very new at it, but it's all helping!! This week I promise myself to take it easy with trades, maximum risk at 3%. Before I was sooo deperate to make money, so, stupid trades and risk around 10%. Not good at all 😂 But this week, I’m up 18eur. That’s a small amount, but it really works!! And the more my capital is growing, the small % becomes more. And best of all. No stress! Hi Wealthy Women! Anyone else having any issues with their A++ Indicator showing the following on their TV Charts: 4 Hr Daily Weekly Monthly I did delete and reload to get the FVG addition as well. I have been trying to fund my Tradestation and AMP futures accounts to no avail. As the wire addresses do not match what comes up in the bank section so money gets refunded back to me. I started my plan with $100 and since we have been doing the 1.5 RR, I changed that from 2.5 to 1.5, adding in $100 a month with nothing taking out. If I change nothing else, I have a negative balance in year 2. The only way to make it positive is to change it to a 50% win rate. I am sure I am doing something wrong? Screenshot below. I'm in my first prop challenge as well with Apex. Biggest advice I've learned so far is build slowly and steadily, for example, setting a very small risk of.25%. And of course staying as robotic, neutral, and consistent as possible when following your trading plan. :)

Can you explain what Dynamic Drawdown is please. I am using E8 propfirm. I passed the first phase. I logged on as a funded trader and the name has changed to Dynamic Drawdown and Daily Drawdown. I can’t find anything that explains what the Dynamic Drawdown is. I have been trading still and hoping I don’t lose my account!!🫣

I pay. I also pay for the CME data. Its worth it if you are getting into trading on a regular basis, especially if you are scalping. The free version is great for swing trading because you're only in your charts a few minutes a day, but for scalping, I would recommend paying for the basic package. They have good sales/deals around the various holidays so you can get it much cheaper.

I took 2 trades all week, and lost both. 1 was a swing and the other was a trade in the 10min because I forgot to switch to my demo account! I also won a swing trade that I had entered a week or so back. Lesson: Check which account you are in!

Yes!!! I had something not go well this week… and after saying “ Thank you for this lesson Lord” I felt so blessed over something not so great.

I've had 1 loss this week, and am still in 2 trades - one from Monday of last week and 1 from Tuesday of this week. Both currently in profit. I've stuck to my plan, only taken 1 swing trade all week (oddly, the one I lost!). It's been an exercise in patience!

I backtested the exact timeframe, market, and symbol I plan to scalp for 6 months with my strategy. Count up all the wins and losses, calculate your win rate and tweak it. Then backtest it again. I set a personal loss limit for each account I trade in, and stick to that. In Topstep, I lock myself out.

Was up 7% in paper acc trading consistently for 3month (Oct25 - Dec 25). Switched back to live trading in Jan 26, so far am in profit even with 4 losses and 2wins.

This has been a good week! Staying consistent and growing my tiny account. I went up to 5% risk and it’s been nice to see higher numbers, but I’m cautious to only take a+ retests. I hope to try a prop firm challenge soon. Using Oanda, or “Wanda” as I like to call her, so I need a prop firm that uses TV and similar set up.

I am at a 48% win rate which is the best I've ever had. I didn't force a trade yesterday and I didn't get FOMO!

I have a funded TopStep account and I am working on a FunderPro account (which was previously funded but I blew and I'm trying again). I like FunderPro because you can trade Gold, Nas, Dow etc plus all of the Forex pairs AND can swing trade. TopStep closes all open trades every afternoon.

I just started a challenge on My Funded Futures because they're great for swing trading, work on TradingView and can be auto-synced to Tradezella!

You need to aim for a 50% win rate. If it is 35% then, for example, your 10 losses will cost you $3090 but your wins will only be $2182.50 so you will lose over all with that win rate.

I just punch in lot sizes until I hit my risk amount. So for example, if my risk amount is $150 and 1 lot is $70 I’ll up it to 2 lots to be close, but not over. Good luck!

I think it’s really important to do what makes the most sense to you. Supply & demand for my take profit zones has been quite successful for me. But I’m very consistent with it and only set them on the 15m and 1H timeframes. These are a couple of trades I’ve taken recently for example.
